Bid For Brighter Futures Silent Auction

Changing lives, one bid at a time—since 2014

Join us on Sunday, September 27th from 5–8 PM at Lone Oak Brewing Company in Olney, MD for an unforgettable evening of inspiration, celebration, and impact!

This year’s event marks a powerful milestone in Rukundo’s journey: after years of building, growing, and believing in what was possible, Rukundo Preparatory School has officially reached Primary 7, completing the full primary school cycle for the very first time.

And, in a fun twist, it’s also our founder Andrea’s birthday weekend—so there may not be a “special guest” this year, but there will definitely be plenty to celebrate. Come raise a glass, place a bid, and help us keep building brighter futures for the children and families we love.

The full food and beverage menu will also be available for purchase from Lone Oak Brewing, with a portion of sales generously donated to support Rukundo International’s programs in Uganda.

The event takes place under a beautiful covered pavilion —rain or shine, we’ll be celebrating in style!

Why It Matters:

All proceeds will help us finish the third floor of Rukundo Preparatory School’s primary building—completing an 8-year journey to build a full primary school for children in rural Uganda.

This final phase will include a large multipurpose hall that will allow Rukundo Preparatory School to become an official Primary Leaving Examination (PLE) testing site, an important milestone that will expand opportunity, reduce barriers for students, and strengthen education access for our community.
